Inis is based in the heart of the beautiful Scottish Borders where we have three stores in the historic towns of Peebles, Galashiels and Hawick.

The Inis concept was born among the rolling hills, heather moors, farmland and small villages of this special Borderland. Traditionally the home of Knitwear especially Cashmere, the small scattered communities are synonymous with good quality, and friendly communication where people know their neighbours and social circles extend throughout the network of small towns.

It is this real sense of community which comprises the heart of the Inis shops where our local customers have become friends, relying on us to bring them an inspiring mix of fashion products, from inspired international brands they would otherwise not be able to access easily. Inis has built up relationships with fashion brands which reflect it's own ethos of good quality, and great styling, and draws on inspiration from our natural surroundings.

We stock many well-known clothing labels, such as Avoca, French Connection, Masai, Noa Noa, Sandwich and White Stuff, just to name a few... Pop in and try on some Fly boots or browse our beautiful collection of jewelry and scarves. There's something for everyone. 

Increasingly Inis is attracting customers from as far north as the Hebrides to as far south as London who love our informal and helpful approach to informing them of all things new, and our friendly Scottish voices always ready to help at the end of a telephone.
