Tweed Valley Forest Park

The forest clad hills which surround Peebles add to what makes it a mecca for lovers of outdoor pursuits. Tweed Valley Forest Park consists of seven forests between Peebles and Selkirk. The closest is Cademuir Forest situated just south of Peebles. The most well known is probably Glentress (a couple of miles East of Peebles) then Cardrona, Caberston, Innerleithen, Thornielee and Yair.

The forests are perfect venues for a variety of activities including walking, dog walking, horesriding, mountainbiking, picnicing, and wildlife watching.
