Elibank and Traquair forests meet at the Bold Burn and form the largest woodland in the Tweed Valley.
Predominantly coniferous and with fine views, it is home to one of the finest downhill mountain biking venues in the world - for more information please visit the 7stanes website.
There are also opportunities for walking along the Southern Upland Way long distance footpath which passes through Traquair village and up on to Minch Moor.
There is a network of walking trails here. Horse riding are also welcome but please be aware of other users and forest operations.
