On a Shoestring is an independent family footwear retailer situated just beyond the Castle Warehouse on the Old Town of Peebles.

We have a child friendly atmosphere and enjoy fitting all age groups from young toddlers through to the very young at heart!

We stock quality footwear at competitive pricing and our adult brands include Hi Tec, Cotswold as well as Lunar Comfort. We are currently developing our range of kiddies footwear and have recently acquired children's accounts from both Ecco and Hush Puppies, two well known and respected  brands.
