Whilst the main aim of the Clubrooms is to support and promote the game of Rugby Union in and around Peebles, the club is a Community Club and anyone can apply to become a member, regardless of their interest in rugby.

The clubrooms are a welcome retreat in the heart of the town centre.

The Clubrooms are Licensed as a Members’ Club open to members, guests accompanying them and members of visiting rugby clubs, with the public being admitted when an occasional license is in force.

Within the Clubrooms, licensed refreshments are available in the Lounge Bar and the Function Hall.

The Lounge Bar provides a cosy environment for a chat and a drink at the bar or at tables with fixed and moveable seating.

The Function Hall can be booked by members, local voluntary organisations and charities for a variety of fund raising events such as coffee mornings, concerts, entertainment, quiz nights as well as formal functions such as weddings, birthday parties and funerals, meetings and training events. If licensed refreshment is required at functions or events, then compliance with Licensing Law is required.

The Function Hall can seat up to about 110 for formal meals (Pic Eastgate Clubrooms) or can be configured to suit smaller functions and events.

The floor is suitable for dancing.

Throughout 2013 a phased refurbishment of the premises started and this continues into 2014.

The club also stocks a range of bottled beers, lagers and ciders and premixed spirit drinks, as well as a wide range of spirits and soft drinks.

Snacks are available at peak times. Formal catering can be arranged for events and functions, or you can organise your own catering.

Live TV events such as rugby internationals can be shown on the large screen facility in the Function Hall; TV and radio are available in both Function Hall and Lounge.

Businesses can advertise on a rolling TV screen in the Function Hall.

Free Wifi connection is available on site.

Throughout 2013 a phased refurbishment of the premises is underway.
